The last month went well. We had a family vacation to Balboa Island that included a special time at Disneyland, a day of boogie boarding at the ocean, and lots of ice cream with cousins. Andrew made it through the week without issues, which is always a concern going into anticipated fun.

He continues to have headaches that seem to be from his shunt over-draining, and he is scheduled for surgery to replace the shunt in August. His seizure activity seems to be managed with medicine right now, and we are grateful for that.

The final thing on the medical side of things is that he has an MRI in a few weeks to check on tumor growth. This is the first MRI that may show how the tumor is responding to the medicine (Mekinist). We pray that it shows a reduction in the tumor.
