Andrew's birthday was Friday and he had a great day. Saturday, we went to his grandparents' house and swam and had dinner with them to celebrate him. Sunday morning, he woke up with some seizure activity that took him out of commission for several hours.
Thankfully, we were able to avoid going to the hospital and we stayed home as a family. By the evening, he was feeling fine and we watched the old Disney movie, "Now You See Him, Now You Don't" with a young Kurt Russell.
We are praying that the Mekinist takes effect and helps his brain be in a better spot. We aren't sure the seizure medicine is working very well, but we have a meeting scheduled next month with an epilepsy specialist at CHLA. He's had great care from his neurologist, but the neurologist wants him to be seen by someone who specializes in seizures.
